The Royal Gardens in Hang Dong are a perfect example of this special Chiang Mai vibe and it is a great place to visit when you don't want to travel too far from the center of town. There are regular events during the day and in the evenings too. It is a very popular place to go walking or jogging after work when the sun goes down.
